    Rebecca Nielson grew up in Republic, Washington. She earned her B.A. in English from Central Washington University, followed by her post-baccalaureate secondary teaching credentials from Eastern Washington University. Ms. Nielson likes to visit the city, but prefers the peace and beauty of the country. Reading is her favorite sport.
